We would like to briefly describe to you below what SquareMed Software GmbH’s attitude towards data privacy is, how we protect your data, and what it means for you if you use our personalised services. What is personal data?

When and where is your personal data gathered and stored?

When you use our site for the first time, data is gathered for registration purposes. The latter includes your name, e-mail address, your present country of residence and any settings relevant to therapy. Such data is required for the functioning of the app. In the further course of business, data is registered and stored that will be used for documenting the therapy. The data is stored within the app and on our server, so that you can also use our web portal, as well as synchronise your data across various devices. Data is transmitted via an encrypted connection (SSL). If you send us an e-mail using the feedback function, only your e-mail address and the message itself are transmitted to us.

On the passing on of personal data to third parties

SquareMed Software GmbH only uses your personal data within the company, and does not pass it on to any third parties unless you have expressly given your consent to the latter.

Use of analysis tools

Anonymised data is gathered for analysis purposes, to improve usability. For that purpose we use Google Analytics in our applications, an analysis service of Google Inc. ("Google"). The information gathered by Google Analytics on your use of this website is usually transferred to a server of Google in the USA and saved there. Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on the website activities for the website operators, and to provide further services associated with the use of the website and the Internet. Google will also, if applicable, transmit this information to third parties, if the latter is statutorily required or in so far as third parties process such data on behalf of Google.
